The Chinese National Mountaineering Team was established in 1956. On May 25, 1960, Chinese mountaineering team members Wang Fuzhou, Qu Yinhua, and Gongbu successfully climbed the highest peak Mount Everest from the world’s highest peak in the world, creating the history of human beings to reach the peak from the north slope.
On May 27, 1975, eight male members and a female player Pan Duo successfully reached the top of Mount Everest. Pan Duo became the first woman in the world to reach the peak from the north slope.
